We print in PLA (polylactic acid), made from renewable, plant-based sources like corn or sugarcane rather than petroleum. It is biodegradable under industrial conditions and produces fewer carbon emissions to make and use than traditional plastics.

We print on two machines, a Snapmaker U1 and a Bambu Lab P1S, and assign each job to whichever suits it best. The Snapmaker's four independent printheads switch colours without the heavy colour flushing of traditional multicolour systems, which helps us cut PLA waste and energy use.We also recycle our PLA waste, test prints, supports and empty filament reels through ReFactory biodegradable plastic recycling boxes, keeping as much material as possible out of landfill.We print responsibly and thoughtfully. We do not manufacture non-functional, mass produced objects.
